Octomore Edition 11.1 represents Bruichladdich’s relentless pursuit of pushing the boundaries of peat. Distilled in 2014 from 100% Scottish-grown Concerto barley and matured for 5 years in first-fill American whiskey casks, this release is peated to an astonishing 139.6 PPM, making it one of the world’s most heavily peated single malts.

Despite its immense peat levels, Octomore 11.1 balances raw power with elegance. The influence of American oak imparts creamy vanilla, toasted coconut, and soft caramel notes, which intertwine beautifully with citrus brightness and maritime smoke. The result is a whisky that is youthful, vibrant, and unapologetically bold.
