This single-vineyard cuvée comes from approximately 60-year-old organically farmed vines in the 1.5-hectare Les Grilles parcel, located on the slopes beside the Bonnet-Cotton winery in Odenas. The vineyard is characterized by its stony yellow siliceous soils and southern exposure.
The wine is produced using whole-bunch carbonic maceration with spontaneous fermentation from native yeasts, followed by around eight months of ageing in old foudres and barrels. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulfites, allowing the expressive fruit, spice and mineral character of the vineyard to remain prominent.

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Deep garnet red with bright carmine reflections.

Nose:
Aromatic and complex with ripe cherries, wild strawberries, small black fruits, stone fruits, liquorice and subtle minty and floral nuances.

Palate:
Juicy, round and velvety with concentrated red and dark fruit flavours, balanced freshness and well-integrated tannins.
