It represents a significant new chapter in The Macallan's relationship with Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.

The whisky is the first Macallan expression to be influenced by sherry casks seasoned with The Macallan's own Valdespino sherry. Its maturation journey involves two distinct interactions with freshly sherry-seasoned oak: the whisky begins its journey on The Macallan Estate before being further elevated through a marrying period in selected casks seasoned at The Macallan's Valdespino bodega in Jerez de la Frontera.

The first 200 Valdespino-seasoned sherry casks arrived at The Macallan in 2024 as part of the distillery's 200th anniversary celebrations. This connection brings together The Macallan's Speyside whisky-making expertise with generations of sherry-making knowledge from Jerez.

Presented in the distinctive circular TIME : SPACE vessel, the packaging reflects the continuous flow of time.
