Bunnahabhain Distillery in 2011 - 8 Years Old Moine Heavily Peated 700ml

A 2011 Bunnahabhain single malt from French indie bottler La Maison du Whisky, matured in a hogshead for eight years before being bottled as part of its Artist Collective series. Aromas of rich malt and aromatic peat open on the nose, alongside burning embers, coal dust, bacon, green olives, camphor and iodine, with subtle hints of lemon zest and sea salt. The palate offers notes of apple, pear, rich peat smoke, seaweed, barley, coconut and dark chocolate.
