Iconic Danish Cider brand. Apart from pure apple cider, the Somersby brand is also being used for pear cider, blackberry-flavoured apple cider, rhubarb, elderflower, ginger lemon, blueberry, apple burst, cranberry-flavoured apple cider, citrus-flavoured apple cider, watermelon-flavoured apple cider and a calorie-reduced apple cider.

The major difference between cider and beer is what they are made from. Cider is made from pressed apple (or other fruit varieties) juice which contains natural sugars, and beer is made from starch based malted cereals.
