Produced in very small quantities (often only a few thousand bottles), “Legend” represents a more powerful and structured interpretation of Font du Loup, while still retaining the estate’s hallmark elegance and precision.

The 2022 vintage is widely regarded as outstanding in the Southern Rhône, delivering concentration, aromatic intensity, and freshness in balance. “Legend” is typically dominated by Mourvèdre with Grenache support, aged for an extended period in large oak (demi-muids and older barrels), which builds depth, spice complexity, and serious ageing potential.

Despite its depth and structure, the wine remains surprisingly refined for Châteauneuf-du-Pape, showing lifted aromatics and a long, precise finish rather than heavy extraction. This is a collector-level cuvée designed for cellaring and special occasions.
