Château de la Font du Loup Châteauneuf-du-Pape “Les Demoiselles” 2023 is a refined and elegant expression of Southern Rhône winemaking, crafted from high-altitude, cooler terroirs within the appellation. Produced by the boutique Château de la Font du Loup, this cuvée is designed to highlight finesse, freshness, and aromatic purity rather than sheer power.

The 2023 vintage is widely regarded as beautifully balanced, delivering lifted red fruit, floral complexity, and a silky, precise structure. Made primarily from Grenache with a supporting proportion of Syrah, the wine is fermented and aged in a combination of concrete vats and older oak barrels to preserve purity and terroir expression.

“Les Demoiselles” is often described as a more delicate, almost Burgundian-styled Châteauneuf-du-Pape, offering charm, drinkability, and elegance while still retaining the depth expected of the appellation. It is approachable in youth but can also develop gracefully over several years.
