Mars The Japanese Gin Wabigin

MARS Japanese GIN Wabigin is a Japanese gin that incorporates botanicals grown in the diverse natural environment of Kagoshima. By bringing out the characteristics of the material, the spiciness of coriander seeds enhances the flavor of juniper berries and harmonizes with nine botanicals harvested in various parts of Kagoshima, including kumquat harvested in Kaseda-tsunuki, Minamisatsuma City, where the distillery is located. We finished this gin with a refreshing taste.
The botanical “Satsuma Button” is an original design of Satsuma ware that was revived by the painter Shiho Murota. It expresses Kagoshima’s traditional techniques and nature.

Botanicals: Juniper Berry, Coriander Seed, Ginger, Green tea leaf, Saigon cinnamon leaf,Yuzu(Japanese citron), Hetsuka bitter orange, Lemon, Kumquat, Shell ginger, Perilla(Japanese herb)

On the nose it is spicy and soft with notes of ginger and juniper. On the palate it is herbaceous and citrusy , with clear notes of yuzu and green tea. The finish is long and fresh with citrus and bitter notes.
