Massolino Barolo Parafada 2015 is an exceptional single-vineyard Barolo crafted exclusively from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the historic Parafada cru of Serralunga d'Alba. Produced by the renowned Massolino estate, established in 1896, this iconic wine showcases the remarkable structure, elegance, and longevity that define Serralunga's finest vineyards. The estate's oldest vines, planted over six decades ago on calcareous marl soils, produce fruit of outstanding concentration and complexity, resulting in a Barolo built for long-term ageing.

The highly acclaimed 2015 vintage delivered ripe fruit, superb balance, and beautifully polished tannins. Traditional long maceration followed by approximately 30 months of ageing in large Slavonian oak casks preserves the purity of Nebbiolo while adding depth and refinement. Rich layers of red berries, floral notes, sweet spice, and earthy complexity unfold with remarkable precision, making this one of Massolino's most celebrated single-vineyard Barolos.

Deep garnet red with brilliant ruby highlights that gradually evolve with bottle age.

Nose:
Complex aromas of wild cherry, raspberry, rose petals, violet, tobacco, sandalwood, sweet spices, leather, and subtle earthy nuances.

Palate:
Full-bodied and beautifully structured with concentrated flavours of ripe cherry, raspberry, red currant, liquorice, clove, white pepper, and dried herbs, supported by vibrant acidity, refined tannins, and exceptional mineral depth. Rich, powerful, and impeccably balanced.

Finish:
Exceptionally long and persistent with lingering red fruits, spice, tobacco, forest floor, and elegant savoury notes.
