Ardbeg Y2K 23 Years Old, also released as Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K 23 Year Old, is an exceptional limited‑edition Islay single malt that celebrates the dawn of the new millennium. Distilled in the year 2000 — a pivotal moment in Ardbeg’s history — this whisky was laid down in some of the finest ex‑bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks before being forgotten and rediscovered decades later.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale amber with warm highlights
Nose: Herbal and fragrant smoke with hints of lemon balm, candied walnuts, and a distant perfumed peat
Palate: Intensely sweet opening with aniseed, toffee, peppermint and tar; evolves into deeper notes of menthol, coffee grits, and rich peat smoke
Finish: Long and lingering with sooty, tarry flavours resolving into bitter orange peel, oak tannins, and antiseptic nuances
