As part of the prestigious Rare Marriages Collection, this expression is masterfully created by Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie, who carefully selects and marries some of The Balvenie's finest casks matured for at least 25 years. By combining exceptional American oak ex-bourbon barrels with carefully chosen European oak ex-sherry casks, the whisky achieves remarkable harmony, complexity, and depth while preserving the distillery's iconic honeyed character. 

After a quarter-century of maturation, the whisky reveals extraordinary elegance and refinement. The American oak contributes notes of creamy vanilla, honey, coconut, and orchard fruits, while the European oak sherry casks introduce layers of dried fruits, rich toffee, baking spices, roasted nuts, and dark chocolate. Bottled at 48% ABV, the higher strength enhances its luxurious mouthfeel, aromatic intensity, and long, sophisticated finish. Tasting Notes

Colour:
Deep golden amber with polished copper highlights.

Nose:
Elegant aromas of acacia honey, vanilla bean, dried apricot, orange peel, caramelised pear, toasted almonds, cinnamon, polished oak, and delicate floral notes.

Palate:
Luxuriously rich and velvety with layers of honeycomb, baked apple, dried figs, raisins, toffee, vanilla cream, roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate, nutmeg, clove, and gentle oak spice. Wonderfully balanced with exceptional depth and silky texture.

Finish:
Long, warming, and refined with lingering honey, dried fruits, cocoa, sweet oak, gentle spice, and subtle citrus zest.
