Dehours & Fils Brisefer Réserve Perpétuelle is a distinctive single-vineyard Blanc de Blancs Champagne made entirely from Chardonnay grown in the Brisefer lieu-dit in Mareuil-le-Port, in the Vallée de la Marne. The parcel contains some of the oldest vines on the Dehours estate, with plantings dating back to 1947, and its east-facing position sits on distinctive red clay soils.

The cuvée is produced using a Réserve Perpétuelle, a perpetual reserve system initiated in 2013. Rather than representing one single vintage, the wine combines the current harvest with reserve wines accumulated over successive years, giving the Champagne additional depth, continuity and complexity.

Fermentation takes place in barrels, followed by ageing in oak. The resulting Chardonnay combines richness and texture from the oak with bright acidity, mineral tension and a savoury character. Dosage varies according to the release, remaining within the Extra Brut range.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale golden with fine, persistent bubbles.

Nose: Expressive aromas of grapefruit, citrus peel, pear and apricot develop into toasted almond, brioche, pastry and subtle herbal notes.

Palate: Rich yet energetic, with a silky texture, precise acidity and pronounced mineral character. The oak influence adds depth and breadth while allowing the Chardonnay's freshness to remain prominent.

Finish: Long, savoury and mineral, with citrus, chalk, toasted nuts and a subtle saline character.
