The Louis Roederer Brut Nature 2018 is an exceptional vintage Champagne created through the collaboration between Louis Roederer, Cellar Master Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, and renowned designer Philippe Starck. First conceived in 2006, the Brut Nature project explores a minimalist style of Champagne where zero dosage allows the fruit, terroir, and vintage to express themselves with exceptional clarity.
The 2018 vintage comes from the La Rivière vineyards in Cumières, a warm and sunny terroir with a strong limestone influence. The blend is 55% Pinot Noir, 25% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, with a touch of Pinot Blanc. Around 31% of the wines were matured in oak, adding texture and complexity without overpowering the wine's natural freshness.
With 0 g/L dosage, Brut Nature 2018 is completely dry, allowing its ripe fruit, saline freshness, chalky minerality, and precise structure to take centre stage. The understated Philippe Starck-inspired packaging and gift box further reinforce its contemporary, minimalist character.
Tasting Notes

Bright golden yellow with fine, persistent bubbles.
Nose:
Expressive aromas of yellow fruit, ripe pear, citrus, toasted almond, sweet florals, fresh pastry, and subtle mineral notes.
Palate:
Dry, vibrant, and beautifully textured with flavours of ripe yellow fruit, pear, citrus, toasted almond, and delicate floral notes. Fine bubbles lead into a chalky, saline freshness, while the ripe fruit from the 2018 vintage provides generosity and balance.
Finish:
Long, precise, and savoury with lingering citrus, saline minerality, toasted almond, fresh fruit, and a subtle spicy character.
