Highland Park Dark Origins is a bold, limited-release single malt inspired by the illicit yet legendary origins of Highland Park’s founder, Magnus Eunson, who was said to secretly distill whisky under the cover of night. Crafted at the Highland Park Distillery in Orkney, this expression is matured in double the amount of first-fill sherry casks compared to the classic 12 Year Old, giving it exceptional richness, depth, and intensity.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Aromas of sherry-soaked raisins, cocoa, and warm spices with hints of dark chocolate and toasted oak.

Palate: Rich and full-bodied, with layers of dried fruit, espresso, dark chocolate, and smoky peat balanced by honey sweetness.
