Octomore 15.1 700ml

Octomore 15.1 is an extraordinary heavily peated single malt whisky from the forward-thinking Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay. Distilled in 2018 using 100% Scottish Concerto barley grown on Islay, this limited release was matured for five years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-wine casks, delivering an intense, smoky, yet remarkably refined expression.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Powerful peat smoke layered with citrus, vanilla, toasted oak, and sweet malted barley.

Palate: Bold, complex, and layered with flavors of smoky malt, caramel, dark chocolate, subtle fruit, and hints of maritime brine.

Finish: Long, warming, and smoky with lingering sweet and earthy notes.
