Octomore 15.2 is a heavily peated single malt whisky from the innovative Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay. Following the groundbreaking 15.1, this limited release pushes the boundaries of flavor and complexity, crafted from 100% Scottish Concerto barley grown on Islay. Matured for five years in ex-bourbon casks and finished in select wine casks, it delivers a unique balance of Octomore’s signature peat intensity with subtle sweet and fruity layers.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Aromas of intense peat smoke, citrus zest, orchard fruits, and hints of vanilla and toasted oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, featuring smoky malt, caramel, dark chocolate, red berries, and delicate maritime brine.

Finish: Long, warming, and smoky with lingering notes of oak, fruit, and sweet barley.
