Mars Iwai Tradition Wine Cask Finish is a distinctive Japanese blended whisky built upon the classic Iwai Tradition expression and given an additional maturation of more than one year in red wine casks sourced from Mars' own wineries in Yamanashi.

The wine-cask finishing adds another dimension to the whisky, bringing red-fruit richness, subtle tannins, and additional body alongside the original whisky's characteristic woody and vanilla notes. Mars describes the expression as harmonizing the woody aromas associated with Sherry casks with the sweet vanilla character contributed by the wine casks.

Bottled at 40% ABV, it offers a smooth and approachable style while retaining enough richness to showcase the influence of its secondary wine-cask maturation.

Smooth and rounded, with vanilla, honey, caramel, and ripe fruit. The red wine influence contributes gentle tannins and a subtle wine character, adding richness and depth without overwhelming the underlying whisky.

Medium in length, with soft spice, oak, and lingering red-wine character, accompanied by gentle vanilla and fruity sweetness.
