Mars The Lucky Cat May & Hana 700ml

Mars The Lucky Cat May & Hana 700ml is the 10th release in Mars Whisky's distinctive Lucky Cat series, a collection of limited-edition blended whiskies inspired by the unique personalities of the cats belonging to the Hombo family.

This edition brings together two affectionate personalities: May, the family's 20-year-old matriarch, and Hana, a calm and gentle cat who was eight years old at the time of release. Their personalities are represented through two complementary cask influences—Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for May and Port Wine casks for Hana.

The resulting whisky combines rich dried-fruit and confectionery character with the elegant sweetness associated with Port. Aromas of caramel, raisin, and vanilla lead into a rich palate of stewed apricot, bittersweet chocolate, and ripe berries, creating a smooth and indulgent expression with a gentle smoky touch.

Rich and indulgent, revealing stewed apricot, bittersweet chocolate, ripe berries, and dried-fruit sweetness. The PX Sherry and Port influence provides additional depth and a luscious texture.

Finish

Smooth and lingering, with ripe berry fruit, raisin, vanilla, and gentle sweetness, accompanied by a subtle touch of smoke.
