Dodd’s Old Tom Gin is a limited-edition craft gin produced by The London Distillery Company in Battersea, London. Inspired by the historic gin styles of the 18th and 19th centuries, this Old Tom expression pays tribute to Ralph Dodd, the visionary who proposed establishing a London distillery in 1807.
Distilled using both a column still and a vacuum still, the gin is crafted from organic botanicals including juniper, bay laurel, angelica, cardamom, lemon, and licorice. After distillation, it is rested for several weeks in American oak barrels, which adds subtle sweetness, vanilla notes, and gentle spice.
The result is a balanced Old Tom gin that sits between London Dry and sweeter historical gin styles, offering rich botanical complexity with smooth oak influence—perfect for classic cocktails or premium gin tasting.
