Glengoyne White Oak 24 Years Old Single Malt Whisky 700ml is a rare and highly distinctive Highland single malt created to showcase the interaction between Glengoyne's naturally fruity spirit and American white oak.

Matured exclusively in American first-fill bourbon and virgin American oak casks, this 24-year-old expression takes Glengoyne in a different direction from its traditionally sherry-led whiskies. The American oak maturation emphasizes bright citrus, vanilla, honey, tropical fruit and gentle spice while allowing the character of the spirit to remain expressive.

The whisky forms part of Glengoyne's White Oak range and was released as an extremely limited edition. Bottled at 47.8% ABV, it offers a rich yet balanced profile with lemon curd, honeycomb, plum, coconut, chocolate, vanilla and soft oak developing across the tasting experience.

Tasting Notes

Colour:

Light amber with warm golden highlights.

Nose:

Rich and inviting with vanilla, toasted oak, lemon curd and honey, followed by plum jam, desiccated coconut and spiced apple pastry. Fresh lime zest adds brightness to the mature oak character.

Palate:

Gently balanced with bright lemon and key lime pie alongside honeycomb and gentle tropical fruit. Soft oak develops with notes of star anise, chocolate and vanilla, creating a rich and layered palate.

Finish:

Long and well-aged with toffee apple, delicate citrus and lingering oak.
