Old Pulteney 50 Years Single Malt Whisky 700ml
Old Pulteney 50 Years Old is an exceptionally rare and prestigious Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky created to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Pulteney Distillery. As the oldest whisky ever released by Old Pulteney, this extraordinary expression represents five decades of maturation at the distillery's coastal home in Wick, where time and the maritime environment have helped shape its distinctive character.
The whisky brings together just four 50-year-old hogsheads, predominantly matured in American oak with a subtle seasoning of European oak to add richness and depth. Carefully selected by Master of Whisky Creation Sarah Burgess, the casks have developed a refined profile of citrus, tropical fruit, vanilla, chocolate, delicate oak, and maritime character.
Bottled at 40.8% ABV and limited to just 200 bottles worldwide, Old Pulteney 50 Years Old is presented in a handcrafted crystal decanter, making it an exceptional collector's expression and a fitting celebration of two centuries of whisky-making in Wick.
