The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet “Margot” from Domaine Marc Colin is an elegant and refined expression of Chardonnay from fine vineyards in Chassagne. Named after the family’s grandmother, “Margot” is sourced from older vines planted in 1970, 1985 and 2005 on clay-limestone soils.

 This wine opens with bright aromas of white peach, citrus zest and acacia blossom, layered over subtle mineral and chalky notes. On the palate it offers graceful texture, vibrant acidity, and refined minerality, leading into a long and balanced finish. A beautifully approachable yet ageworthy white Burgundy, ideal for both early drinking and short-to-medium term cellaring.
