The Montes Alpha Carménère is one of Chile’s most celebrated expressions of this distinctive grape, crafted by Viña Montes from hand-selected fruit grown in the Apalta vineyards of the Colchagua Valley. The warm days and cool nights of this region produce wines of remarkable depth, balance, and elegance.

Aged for around 12 months in French oak barrels, this wine reveals intense aromas of blackberry, plum, and dark chocolate, complemented by notes of black pepper, vanilla, and roasted coffee. The palate is full-bodied yet silky, with velvety tannins and a long, spicy finish.

Montes Alpha Carménère is a fine example of modern Chilean winemaking — powerful, polished, and beautifully structured — ideal for both cellaring and immediate enjoyment.
