The Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne 2018 is one of the House's most prestigious and iconic cuvées, produced only in exceptional years. Created originally for the Russian Imperial Court in 1876, Cristal has become synonymous with luxury, precision, and long-term ageing potential.
The 2018 vintage is particularly distinctive. A warm growing season produced ripe, concentrated fruit, while Louis Roederer's winemaking team broadened the vineyard selection to preserve freshness and precision. The 2018 Cristal draws from 57 parcels, compared with 45 parcels in many previous vintages, helping maintain the balance between richness and freshness.
The wine is crafted from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with Louis Roederer using carefully selected estate-grown fruit and restrained oak influence. The result is a Champagne of remarkable depth and concentration while retaining the linear energy, chalky minerality, and saline freshness associated with Cristal.

Colour:
Brilliant golden yellow with luminous highlights and a fine, persistent mousse.
Nose:
Elegant and expressive with aromas of ripe pear, orchard fruit, yellow peach, dried flowers, citrus zest, white pepper, chalk, and subtle roasted and spicy nuances.
Palate:
Rich, precise, and beautifully textured with layers of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, peach, dried flowers, almond, herbs, and chalky minerality. Fine bubbles provide a silky texture, while vibrant acidity and saline freshness bring balance to the wine's generosity.
Finish:
Exceptionally long and persistent with lingering citrus, ripe fruit, chalk, saline minerality, floral notes, and delicate spice.
