Domaine de Marcoux Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes 2023 is the estate’s flagship old-vine cuvée and one of the most sought-after wines in the Southern Rhône. Produced in extremely limited quantities from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards, this wine comes from some of the domaine’s oldest Grenache vines, many planted over a century ago in the famed sandy soils of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The 2023 vintage combines concentration, aromatic purity, and remarkable freshness, delivering a wine of exceptional finesse and depth. Domaine de Marcoux is renowned for its gentle extraction and low-intervention philosophy, allowing the old-vine fruit and terroir to express themselves with clarity and elegance rather than excessive power.

Predominantly Grenache with small amounts of Mourvèdre and Syrah, the wine is vinified in concrete and aged mainly in neutral oak and large foudres to preserve texture and purity. The result is a layered, silky, and highly age-worthy Châteauneuf-du-Pape with profound complexity and Burgundian-like refinement.
