Muga Torre Muga 2021 is a flagship, high-end Rioja and one of the most powerful expressions from Bodegas Muga. Positioned above Reserva and Selección Especial, this wine represents a more modern, concentrated style of Rioja, combining richness with precision and ageing potential.
Crafted from old-vine Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo, sourced from high-altitude vineyards, the wine undergoes fermentation in oak vats followed by ageing in new French oak barrels for ~18 months, delivering depth, structure, and complexity.
The 2021 vintage is exceptional, receiving 96–99 points across major critics, praised for its balance, polished tannins, and long ageing curve.
