Trinity Hill Homage Syrah 2019 is the flagship expression of Hawke’s Bay Syrah, crafted from some of the finest parcels in the renowned Gimblett Gravels and Roys Hill vineyards. Considered one of New Zealand’s most iconic red wines, Homage represents the pinnacle of the estate’s winemaking philosophy—precision, site expression, and long-term ageing potential.

The 2019 vintage was shaped by a warm, dry growing season that delivered exceptional fruit ripeness and concentration. Hand-harvested grapes from multiple vineyard blocks were vinified separately, with techniques such as whole-bunch fermentation and extended oak maturation used to build complexity and structure. The final blend is powerful yet refined, balancing intensity with elegance.

This is a benchmark New World Syrah, often regarded as one of the most complete and age-worthy expressions of the variety in New Zealand.

Deep ruby with inky purple hues

Nose:
Ripe blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, liquorice, black pepper, violet, smoked meat, Chinese five spice, and cedar oak

Full-bodied and intensely concentrated with fine-grained tannins. Layers of dark berries, cassis, and plum are supported by pepper spice, floral lift, and savoury complexity
