Yann Durieux is a fourth-generation Burgundian from Nuits-Saint-Georges who vinified his first vintage at the age of 13, Yann embodies the philosophy behind the finest Burgundy wines. In 2010, he founded his own domain, Recrue des Sens, and vinified his first three vintages in the cellars at Prieure Roch.

Despite his rigorous adherence to traditional winemaking practices, Yann bottles all of his wines as Vin de France, deliberately eschewing the customary Burgundy hierarchy. This unconventional approach has contributed to the cult status of his wines, which can be described as a blend of the finest natural wine movement elements with the prestige of the world's most legendary winery.
