Aged for 3 years in a carefully selected first-fill cream sherry cask.
Cream sherry, known for its higher sweetness, lives up to its name by imparting a rich,
creamy mouthfeel to the whisky. The result is a full-bodied, sweet, and rounded profile
with vibrant fruity notes.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and sweet with creamy fat notes, berry jam, honey, and a hint of wood.
Palate: Light and silky body, smooth sweetness with warm fruity tones — notes of
cranberry and honey.
Finish: Sweet and smooth with lingering spice. 

Akashi Single Malt Japanese Whisky – Oloroso Sherry Cask
Cask Strength | Cask No. 101821 | 62% ABV / 500ml
Crafted using 100% British two-row barley kilned to 10 ppm, and distilled with pure, soft
underground water traditionally used for sake brewing.
Distilled in small copper stills, the whisky is delicate and elegant, with the signature sweet
fruitiness of Oloroso sherry casks, delivering a rounded, rich body with a subtle, enticing
smokiness.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Soft peat smoke layered with sherry sweetness — cocoa, dark dried fruits.
Palate: Rich and full-bodied; sweet raisins and vanilla pair beautifully with a
gentle smoky flavor.
Finish: A pleasant peaty smoke lingers with sweet fruity notes.
