The Antinori Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2022 750ml is a prestigious Tuscan red wine produced by Marchesi Antinori, one of Italy's most historic and respected wine families.
First produced in 1986 to celebrate the 26th Marchese Piero Antinori, this wine represents an important expression of the Antinori family's connection with the Chianti Classico region. It is crafted primarily from Sangiovese, supported by complementary varieties, and sourced from vineyards in the historic Chianti Classico area.
The 2022 vintage benefits from warm growing conditions that produced ripe, concentrated fruit while careful vineyard management helped preserve freshness and structure. The wine is aged in oak before further bottle maturation, allowing the fruit, tannins and oak character to become increasingly integrated.
The resulting wine combines ripe cherry and red berry fruit with violet, spice, vanilla, tobacco and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is structured and full-bodied, with polished tannins, vibrant acidity and a persistent finish.
