Antolini Ca' Coato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2016 is a prestigious single-vineyard Amarone crafted by the family-owned Antolini Azienda Agricola, one of the most respected traditional producers in Valpolicella Classica. Produced exclusively from grapes grown in the Ca' Coato vineyard in Negrar, this Amarone showcases the elegance and longevity of one of the region's finest terroirs. The vineyard sits between 170 and 220 metres above sea level, where limestone-rich soils and careful vineyard management produce fruit of exceptional concentration and character.

Made from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, the grapes are hand-selected between late September and mid-October before undergoing the traditional appassimento process to naturally concentrate flavours and aromas. After slow fermentation, the wine is matured using traditional methods to preserve purity, structure, and complexity. The acclaimed 2016 vintage, widely regarded as one of Italy's greatest recent vintages, delivers outstanding balance between ripe fruit, vibrant acidity, and refined tannins, promising exceptional ageing potential.

Long, savoury, and persistent with lingering notes of dark fruit, balsamic herbs, chocolate, spice, and mineral complexity. Austere in its youth, it rewards extended decanting and cellaring.
