Artuke Finca de los Locos 2019 is a highly acclaimed single-vineyard Rioja that showcases the precision, elegance, and terroir-focused philosophy of Bodegas y Viñedos Artuke. Produced from the historic “Finca de los Locos” vineyard in Baños de Ebro, Rioja Alavesa, this wine pays tribute to the Artuke family’s grandfather, who was once considered “crazy” for planting vines on this challenging, high-altitude, limestone-rich site. Today, the vineyard is recognised as one of the estate’s most distinctive and expressive parcels.

Crafted primarily from Tempranillo with a proportion of Graciano, the 2019 vintage reflects the freshness, structure, and mineral character of Rioja Alavesa. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in large-format French oak barrels and foudres, the wine balances vibrant fruit purity with refined oak integration and remarkable ageing potential. Widely regarded as one of Artuke’s flagship wines, Finca de los Locos represents the modern movement of vineyard-driven Rioja.
