Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico 2022 is a beautifully traditional expression of Tuscany crafted by one of the region’s most historic and respected estates. Founded in the 11th century as a Benedictine abbey, Badia a Coltibuono is renowned for producing elegant, terroir-driven Chianti Classico wines rooted in organic farming and classic Tuscan winemaking philosophy.

The 2022 vintage reflects the warmth and concentration of the growing season while maintaining freshness and balance through the estate’s high-altitude vineyards in Gaiole in Chianti. Made predominantly from Sangiovese with small portions of native complementary varieties, the wine emphasizes bright red fruit, lively acidity, earthy complexity, and refined tannins.

Fermentation takes place using traditional methods, followed by ageing in large oak casks and a period of bottle refinement. The result is a Chianti Classico that balances approachability with authenticity—fresh, food-friendly, and unmistakably Tuscan in character.
