Inspired by former Distillery Manager Ian Millar, this annual event allows The Balvenie to explore a smoky style while preserving the distillery's signature honeyed Speyside character.

Matured for 14 years in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon barrels, the whisky develops a harmonious balance of gentle peat smoke, sweet vanilla, citrus, and floral honey. Unlike heavily peated Islay whiskies, Week of Peat offers an elegant and approachable smoky profile where fragrant wood smoke enhances rather than dominates the rich fruit and malt flavours. Bottled at a robust 48.3% ABV, it delivers exceptional texture, depth, and complexity while remaining unmistakably Balvenie.

Nose:
Delicate aromas of soft wood smoke, honey, vanilla, citrus zest, ripe pear, heather, toasted oak, and subtle floral notes with hints of sweet spice.

Palate:
Rich, creamy, and beautifully balanced with layers of honeycomb, vanilla fudge, baked apple, pear, lemon peel, toasted malt, gentle peat smoke, cinnamon, and oak spice. The smoke is elegant and integrated, complementing rather than overpowering the whisky's natural sweetness.
