Bolla Le Origini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG 2018 is a prestigious expression of Amarone from the historic Valpolicella Classica in Veneto. The Le Origini name commemorates Bolla's historic connection with Amarone and its pioneering role in the wine's development, dating back to the celebrated 1950 vintage. Bolla describes Le Origini as the ultimate expression of its passion for the Valpolicella Classica and its territory.

The wine is made using the traditional appassimento method, in which the grapes are dried for approximately 120 days before fermentation. The 2018 wine then undergoes extended maturation: approximately 12 months in 750-litre barrels, followed by 36 months in large 40- and 80-hectolitre casks and a further 9 months of bottle ageing.

The result is a powerful yet polished Amarone, combining concentrated ripe-fruit flavours with spice, liquorice, cocoa and subtle vanilla. At 15.5% ABV, it has the richness and warmth expected of Amarone while retaining freshness and structure.
