Bruno Lorenzon Bourgogne Les 16 Ouvrees 2023 750ml

Bruno Lorenzon Bourgogne "Les 16 Ouvrees" 2023 is an elegant and structured Burgundy red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir in the Côte Chalonnaise. The cuvée comes from a carefully selected parcel of 16 ouvrées and reflects Bruno Lorenzon's precise approach to viticulture and winemaking.
The grapes are hand-harvested in small crates, with 75% whole clusters used during vinification. The wine undergoes pre-fermentation maceration and gentle pigeage before ageing for 13 months in oak barrels, followed by five months in stainless steel tanks. Around 20% of the barrels are new oak.

Colour:
Bright ruby red with youthful garnet reflections.

Nose:
Aromatic and expressive with raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant and floral notes, complemented by subtle vanilla, mocha, caramel, cherry and smoky nuances.

Palate:
Fleshy, structured and generous with vibrant red berry and cherry flavours. Fresh acidity and rounded tannins provide balance, while carefully integrated oak contributes subtle mocha, caramel and smoky complexity.

Finish:
Fresh, balanced and lingering with red fruit, gentle spice, subtle oak and mineral nuances.
