Bruno Rocca Barbaresco Riserva “Currà” 2020 is a rare, highly allocated single-vineyard Riserva from one of Barbaresco’s most prestigious crus, crafted by the acclaimed Bruno Rocca estate in Rabajà. This wine represents the pinnacle expression of the Currà vineyard, showcasing Nebbiolo at its most structured, complex, and age-worthy.
The 2020 vintage is considered excellent in Piedmont, combining ripe fruit concentration with classic Barbaresco precision. Grapes are sourced from the high-altitude Currà MGA in Neive, where cooler exposures and limestone-rich soils produce wines of finesse, aromatic lift, and mineral tension.
As a Riserva, this bottling receives extended maceration and longer ageing compared to the estate’s standard Barbaresco and single-vineyard releases. The wine is matured in large neutral oak casks, allowing the structure and terroir to develop slowly while preserving purity of fruit and floral complexity. The result is a powerful yet refined Nebbiolo built for long-term cellaring.
