Fettercairn Information
Fettercairn is a highland distillery sat by the Cairngorm Mountatins.

Given the equipment and production style, it's easy to see why a firm, relatively heavy, nutty style whisky is created. Furthermore, between 1995 & 2009, the condensers were made of stainless steel, adding a slightly burnt, pot ale character to the new make. However, a cooling ring at the top of the swan neck, spraying cold water down the still sides, helps reflux and guides the spirit towards a lighter profile.
