Can Sumoi Garnatxa Blanca 2022 750ml

Can Sumoi Garnatxa Blanca 2022 is an expressive and elegant white wine made from 100% Garnatxa Blanca in the high-altitude Montmell Mountains of Baix Penedès. The grapes come from two mountain parcels, Campo Grande de Pla de Manlleu and Cal Pilot de Querol, located at approximately 600 metres above sea level on poor, calcareous and stony soils.
The grapes were manually harvested and gently pressed at low pressure before fermentation with indigenous vineyard yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine underwent spontaneous malolactic fermentation and was produced using a minimal-intervention approach, without added oenological additives, with sulphites used at bottling.
The 2022 vintage offers a fresh and textured expression of Garnatxa Blanca, combining white and yellow fruit with floral, citrus, fresh herbaceous and mineral notes. Its vibrant acidity and subtle savoury character provide balance and make it a versatile food-friendly white wine.

Pale, bright straw yellow with clear reflections.

Nose:
Expressive and aromatic with fresh white fruit, yellow fruit, citrus, delicate wild flowers and fresh herbal notes, complemented by subtle mineral nuances.

Palate:
Fresh, elegant and rounded with flavours of white fruit, crisp apple, yellow plum and citrus. Good acidity provides energy, while a subtle savoury character and gentle bitterness add balance and length.

Finish:
Clean, refreshing and lightly mineral with lingering citrus, fresh fruit and delicate herbal notes.
