Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino “Tenuta Nuova” 2020 is one of Tuscany’s most celebrated modern Brunello expressions, crafted from a single estate vineyard planted in the early 1990s by Giacomo Neri. Since its debut vintage in 1993, Tenuta Nuova has become an iconic wine of Montalcino, admired for combining richness, precision, and remarkable ageing potential.

The 2020 vintage in Montalcino delivered wines of freshness, aromatic purity, and refined structure. Careful vineyard management and selective harvesting allowed the Sangiovese Grosso grapes to achieve exceptional balance between concentration and elegance. The Tenuta Nuova vineyard, located in the southeastern sector of Montalcino, benefits from excellent sun exposure and varied soils that contribute complexity and mineral depth.

Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats followed by extended ageing in French oak barrels and additional bottle refinement. The result is a Brunello of impressive intensity and polish—powerful yet energetic, with layered fruit, silky tannins, and exceptional precision.
