Casanova di Neri Pietradonice 2019 is a bold and highly acclaimed Super Tuscan crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon by the prestigious Casanova di Neri estate in Montalcino. First produced in 1983, Pietradonice was among the pioneering Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the region and remains one of Tuscany’s most distinctive expressions of the variety.

The wine takes its name from the dark volcanic stones (“pietra donice”) found in the vineyard soils, which contribute to its structure, mineral depth, and concentration. The 2019 vintage in Tuscany delivered excellent balance between ripeness and freshness, producing wines with remarkable aromatic precision, refined tannins, and long ageing potential.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with controlled extraction, followed by ageing in French oak barriques for approximately 18 months. The result is a powerful yet polished Cabernet Sauvignon with layered dark fruit, spice, and elegant Tuscan freshness. Pietradonice combines international varietal character with the unique terroir and sophistication of Montalcino.
