Cascina Fontana Barbera d'Alba 2021 is a traditional Piedmontese red wine made from 100% Barbera grapes grown in the Langhe hills around the Barolo region. The wine reflects Cascina Fontana's traditional winemaking approach, combining vibrant natural acidity with ripe fruit, savoury complexity and an elegant texture.

Following fermentation with natural yeasts, the wine is matured partly in used wooden barrels and partly in cement tanks. This traditional ageing method helps soften Barbera's naturally pronounced acidity while preserving the purity and freshness of the fruit. The 2021 vintage is characterized by freshness, fragrance, elegance and good structural potential.

Deep ruby red with vibrant violet and garnet reflections.

Nose:

Expressive and aromatic with red roses, cherry jam and wild woodland fruits, complemented by delicate sweet spices and elegant graphite-like mineral notes.
