Castello di Verrazzano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Sassello DOCG 2020 is a prestigious Tuscan red made exclusively from estate-grown Sangiovese from the La Querciolina vineyard in Greve in Chianti. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in small batches before extended maturation in wood and smaller French oak barrels. The wine is further refined in bottle, developing a layered profile of ripe red and dark berries, elegant spice, oak, and vanilla, supported by polished tannins and a long, persistent finish.
