Cayuse "God Only Knows" 2016 is a distinctive Grenache-driven red wine from Cayuse Vineyards' Armada Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. The 2016 vintage is composed of approximately 90% Grenache, with the remaining 10% made up of other varieties that are not specifically identified. The wine combines vibrant red fruit with floral, savory, earthy and mineral characteristics, creating a complex and elegant expression of Cayuse's distinctive terroir. The wine was made with a significant proportion of whole clusters and aged in neutral demi-muids and foudre, contributing to its silky texture and layered complexity.

Colour:
Bright ruby red with translucent violet reflections.

Nose:
Highly aromatic with raspberry, wild strawberry, red cherry, potpourri, violets, white pepper, smoked earth and subtle savory and earthy notes.

Palate:
Medium-bodied, silky and refined with concentrated red fruit, cherry, wild strawberry, mineral, savory and spicy flavours. Fresh acidity and structured yet polished tannins provide balance and depth.

Finish:
Long and persistent with lingering raspberry, cherry, floral, mineral, peppery and savory notes.
