Champagne Pierre Moncuit Cuvée Nicole Moncuit Vieille Vigne Grand Cru 2008 Extra Brut is an exceptional vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay grown on the historic Les Chétillons vineyard in Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of the Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs. The cuvée comes from very old vines, with the estate describing the Nicole Vieille Vigne as one of its most distinctive and limited-production wines.
The 2008 vintage was produced only from a single harvest without the addition of reserve wines. It underwent vinification in stainless steel and exceptionally long ageing on the lees before disgorgement, allowing the wine to develop considerable aromatic complexity while retaining the freshness and precision characteristic of the vintage.
