Château Bel Air-Marquis d'Aligre Margaux 2018 is a distinctive and traditionally styled Bordeaux red from the Margaux appellation. Produced in Soussans under the stewardship of Jean-Pierre Boyer, the estate is renowned for its old-fashioned approach, with extended maturation primarily in concrete vats rather than new oak. This preserves the purity of the fruit and allows the terroir to remain at the forefront.
The 2018 vintage combines ripe fruit with vibrant freshness, elegant tannins and refined structure. Its expressive yet delicate profile makes it a distinctive interpretation of Margaux, offering depth without the heavy oak influence associated with many modern Bordeaux wines.

Colour:
Deep ruby to garnet with youthful red-violet highlights.

Nose:
Aromatic notes of wild strawberry, cranberry, ripe red and black fruits, delicate florals, mint, subtle undergrowth and gentle spice.

Palate:
Elegant and vibrant, showing black cherry, cassis and ripe berry flavours supported by fresh acidity and fine, silky tannins. The texture is harmonious and velvety.

Finish:
Long and refined, with persistent fruit, floral freshness, subtle spice and mineral depth.
