Chateau Blason D'Issan Margaux 2016 750ml

Blason d'Issan Margaux 2016 is the second wine of Château d'Issan, a historic Margaux estate classified as a Third Growth in the 1855 classification. Produced primarily from younger vines, it offers an accessible expression of the estate's Margaux terroir while retaining the elegance and finesse associated with Château d'Issan.
The 2016 vintage combines generous fruit with freshness, polished tannins and a refined structure. Aged in barrels for approximately 14–16 months, with around one-third new oak, it develops additional depth while maintaining its vibrant fruit character.

Colour:
Deep ruby red with purple reflections.

Nose:
Aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and cassis with delicate violet, mint, tobacco and subtle woody notes.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied, with juicy dark fruit, lively acidity, firm yet silky tannins and a refined, balanced texture.

Finish:
Long and fresh, with lingering black fruit, subtle spice, tobacco and a gentle menthol character.
