Château Calon Ségur Saint-Estèphe 2015 is a prestigious Left Bank Bordeaux red and a Third Growth under the 1855 Classification. Known for its distinctive heart-shaped label and gravel-and-clay terroir, Calon Ségur produces wines renowned for their intensity, structure, elegance and remarkable ageing potential.
The 2015 vintage delivers a powerful yet refined expression, combining concentrated dark fruit with freshness, firm tannins and subtle oak complexity. Aged for approximately 20 months in 100% new French oak, it develops additional depth while maintaining the classic Cabernet-driven character of Saint-Estèphe.

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Deep garnet to purple with youthful depth.

Nose:
Expressive aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, black cherry and raspberry, complemented by cedar, graphite, licorice, tobacco, floral notes and subtle spice.

Palate:
Full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe dark fruit, fresh acidity, firm yet fine-grained tannins and a refined mineral character. The palate is structured, polished and balanced.

Finish:
Long, savoury and persistent, with lingering cassis, dark fruit, graphite, spice and subtle saline-mineral notes.
