The Château Cantemerle Haut-Médoc Grand Cru Classé 2018 is an outstanding Cinquième Grand Cru Classé (Fifth Growth) from the prestigious 1855 Bordeaux Classification. Located in the commune of Macau in the southern Haut-Médoc, close to the famed Margaux appellation, Château Cantemerle has earned an international reputation for producing refined, elegant Bordeaux that consistently overdeliver for their classification. The estate encompasses 92 hectares of deep gravel and silica soils, an ideal terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon, yielding wines renowned for their aromatic finesse, balance, and impressive ageing potential.

The 2018 vintage is considered one of Bordeaux's finest in recent decades. Benefiting from a warm, dry summer following a challenging spring, the grapes achieved exceptional ripeness while retaining freshness. The final blend consists of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Petit Verdot. Matured for 12 months in French oak barrels, including 40% new oak, the wine delivers remarkable concentration, silky tannins, and classic Médoc elegance. Château Cantemerle describes the vintage as a perfect expression of harmony, richness, and the estate's signature refinement.
