Château Cap de Faugères Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux 2017 is a Merlot-dominant Right Bank Bordeaux red from Sainte-Colombe, situated on clay-limestone hillsides extending from the Saint-Émilion plateau. The estate is part of the vineyards associated with Silvio Denz and benefits from careful selection and winemaking expertise.
The 2017 vintage offers an attractive balance of ripe fruit, freshness and elegant tannins. Aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barrels, the wine develops additional layers of spice and savoury complexity while retaining its approachable fruit-driven character.

Colour:
Deep ruby to garnet with youthful depth.

Nose:
Aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, blackberry and plum, complemented by floral, tobacco, cedar, chocolate and subtle spice notes.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied, with juicy dark fruit, fresh acidity, firm yet polished tannins and a rounded, creamy texture. Subtle mineral and savoury notes add depth.

Finish:
Fresh and persistent, with lingering cassis, plum, dark berries, spice and gentle mineral notes.
